Men's Golf Selection Show Set for Monday Morning

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Fresh off its second straight Horizon League Championship, the Cleveland State men's golf team will learn its NCAA Championship destination on Monday (May 4) morning when the Golf Channel airs the 2015 Division I Men's Golf Selections Announcement.

The selections will be announced within Morning Drive, which airs live at 10:00 a.m.

The NCAA Regionals run from May 14-16 at five sites, including Noblesville, Ind. (The Sagamore Club), Chapel Hill, N.C. (UNC Finley G.C.), San Diego, Calif. (The Farms G.C.), Lubbock, Texas (The Rawls Course), Bremerton, Wash. (Gold Mountain G.C.) and New Haven, Conn. (The Course at Yale).

The Vikings competed at The Farms G.C. at the 2011 NCAA Regionals.

CSU earned its second straight trip to the regionals and its sixth in the last 10 years by capturing the Horizon League Championship last weekend in Florida. The Vikings took the first round lead with a 293 and led wire-to-wire behind Michael Balcar who was the individual runner-up and Mitchell Moore who placed fourth overall.

Both players earned a spot on the all-tournament team.
