DAYTON, Ohio - Cleveland State shot two rounds of 303 and is in seventh place out of nine teams after the first day of the Wright State Intercollegiate that began on Sunday at the par-71, 6,643-yard Miami Valley Golf Club.

Blake Prince is tied for fifth place overall with a 36 hole total of 145 after rounds of 73 and 72, while Joey Krecic is tied for 22nd at 152 (74-78).

Playing as an individual, Michael Balcar shot a first round 76 and followed it with a two-under-par 69 and is tied for fifth place at 145.

The Vikings are just two shots behind Dayton and Detroit who are tied for fifth place at 604.

Northern Kentucky leads the field with a 36 hole total of 582, while Valparaiso is in second place seven shots back at 589. Wright State is in third place at 592, while Oakland is fourth (595).

Green Bay (609) and Youngstown State (610) round out the field.

The final round of the event will be played on Monday morning.
