HEBRON, Ky. - The Cleveland State men's golf team shot a final round 297 and finished ninth of 14 teams at the Bearcat Invitational that concluded on Tuesday at the par-72, 7,150-yard Traditions Golf Club.

The event, which was shortened from 54 holes to 36 holes due to weather, was the final fall event for the Vikings. CSU was nine shots better than Monday's first round 303.

Michael Balcar fired his second consecutive even-par round of 72 and finished in a tie for eighth place with a 144 total. Pat Luth also notched a top-10 finish, tying for 10th place with back-to-back rounds of one-over-par 73 (146).

Paul Minko carded a final round even-par 72 in today's final round.

The Vikings are now out of action until the spring 2015 season.
