INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Cleveland State senior Andrew Bailey (Rocky River, Ohio) has been named the Horizon League Golfer of the Week for the period of Mar. 19-Apr. 1.

Competing at the Memphis Intercollegiate, which featured four teams ranked inside the top-100 by Golfweek, Bailey finished in a tie for third place with a two-over par 218 (72-76-70).

It marks the fifth time in eight events this season that the senior has finished inside the top-five.

His two-under par 70 is the fifth time he has shot par or better in the final round and the 14th time in 22 rounds this season. Bailey's stroke average of 71.59 leads the League and ranks 63rd nationally.

Memphis, ranked No. 43 by Golfweek, won the event with an 874. Cleveland State finished 11th with a 909.

This marks the sixth career Golfer of the Week honor for Bailey, who sports a career scoring average of 73.30.

Cleveland State returns to action Apr. 12-13 at the Robert Kepler Invitational in Columbus, Ohio.
