Bailey Has Top-Five Finish; Vikings 7th at Bearcat Invitational

CINCINNATI, Ohio - Cleveland State shot a final round 302 and finished seventh of 16 teams at the Bearcat Invitational that concluded on Tuesday at the par-72, 7,100-yard The Traditions G.C.

The teams finished the second round this morning that was called last night due to darkness before playing the final round today.

Senior Andrew Bailey finished with a one-over-par 73 and placed fourth with a 54-hole total of three-under-par 213. It was Bailey's third top-five finish in four events this fall and he has posted rounds of par or better in nine of his 12 rounds.

Sophomore Mitchell Moore tied for 40th place with a 54-hole total of 226 (74-75-77), while freshman Pat Luth tied for 49th place at 229 (76-75-78).

The Vikings had a 54 hole total of 886 (295-289-302).

Austin Peay won the event with a 54 hole total of 862 and was followed by Marshall (867), Cincinnati (871), Tennessee Tech (876), Belmont (877), Youngstown State (885) and CSU.

The Vikings conclude the fall season when CSU competes at the UD Flyer Invitational on Oct. 14-15.
