Results After Two Rounds Get Acrobat Reader

HUNTINGTON, W. Va. - Cleveland State shot rounds of 288 and 293 and is tied for seventh place out of 16 teams after the opening day of the Marshall Invitational that was played on Monday.

The 54-hole event is being played at the par-71, 6,573-yard Guyan Golf and Country Club.

The Vikings used a two-under par round of 69 by Andrew Bailey and a one-under-par 70 byMichael Klaric to finish the opening round at four-over-par (288) and tied for fourth place overall.

But a 293 dropped the Vikings a few spots in the standings after round two as Michael Balcar andJon Riemer both shot even-par 72's which were the team's best rounds of the afternoon.

Bailey followed his opening round 69 with a 73 and is tied for 15h place overall at 142, while Balcar shot rounds of 73-72 (145) and is tied for 25th place.

Virginia Tech leads the field at 548 and is followed by Marshall (564), Ohio State (565), Western Kentucky (575), Xavier and Miami (OH) at 577 and CSU and Toledo at 581.

The final round will be played on Tuesday (Sept. 11).
