CLEVELAND, Ohio - Cleveland State junior Andrew Bailey (Rocky River, Ohio) has been named the Horizon League Men's Golfer of the Week after his runner-up finish at the Benbow Invitational in Jacksonville, Fla., on March 11-12.

Bailey opened the tournament with a 74 and was tied for 15th place after 18 holes. He came back to card a four-under-par 67 in the final round, the low round of the tournament, to move into a tie for the lead after 36 holes, but fell in a playoff on the first hole.

His final round 67 was a career-low and was tied for the fifth lowest round in program history. It is also the lowest round by a CSU golfer since Kent Monas carded a 66 at the Indiana Invitational on April 9, 2011.

Bailey's performance helped CSU finish fifth of 14 teams.

The Vikings finished in fifth place out of the 14 teams.

Cleveland State returns to the links on Monday when it travels to Memphis, Tenn., to compete in the Memphis Intercollegiate.
