WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Senior Jon Riemer shot a final round even-par 72 to help Cleveland State card a 297 and finish eighth of 18 teams at the Boilermaker Invitational that concluded on Sunday at the par 72, 7,465-yard Kampen Course and hosted by Purdue.
Junior Andrew Bailey was CSU's top finisher, tying for ninth place with a 54 hole total of two-over-par 218 (75-69-74). It was his fourth top-10 finish of the season.
Riemer moved up eight spots to finish tied for 15th place with his final round 72. He was two shots behind Bailey at 220 (77-71-72).
CSU is back in action from Friday through Sunday (April 26-28) when the Vikings compete in the Horizon League Championship in Florida.
