CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Cleveland State men's golf team will be back in action at the Whiting-Turner Towson Invitational from Sunday through Tuesday (March 31-April 2).

The 54-hole event will be played at the par 71, 6,659 yard Prospect Bay CC in Grasonville, Md.

The tournament continues a busy stretch of golf for the Vikings, who finished 13th of 16 teams at the prestigious Memphis Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday (March 25-26). That event was played in cold, wet, rainy conditions and also included two delays for snow.

Junior Andrew Bailey tied for 29th place, carding rounds of 77-80-74 (231). He continues to lead the team in scoring average at 72.9, which currently ranks as the second lowest average in a season in school history behind Jake Scott's 72.7 average in 2007-08. He leads the team with eight rounds of par or better this year, improving his career total to 24, the third most in program history. He has finished in the top-20 in six of the seven events this year.

Senior Jon Riemer ranks second on the team with a 74.9 scoring average, while sophomore Michael Balcar is third at 75.2.

As a team, the Vikings are averaging 298.1 per round, putting CSU on pace to post a scoring average under 300 for just the fifth time in program history, all coming since 2007-08 when CSU set a school record with a 296.8 scoring average.

CSU returns to action on April 12-13 at the Detroit Titan Invitational.
