WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Cleveland State shot rounds of 301 and 293 and is tied for seventh place after 36 holes on the Boilermaker Invitational that opened on Saturday.
The 54-hole event will be played at the par72, 7,465-yard Kampen Course and hosted by Purdue.
The Vikings were in eighth place after the opening round, but took eight shots off the afternoon round to move into a tie for seventh place.
Junior Andrew Bailey followed a first round 75 with a three-under-par 69 in the afternoon and is tied for eighth place with an even-par 144 total.
Senior Jon Riemer shot 77-71 (148) and is tied for 23rd place.
The final round is slated to be played on Sunday morning.
