CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Season and group tickets for the 2007-08 Cleveland State men's basketball season are currently available, marking the earliest seaon ticket campaign in CSU basketball history.

"We are so optimistic about the prospects for improved success in 2007-08 and the quality of student-athletes that Gary Waters is bringing into the program, that we felt it was important to make our season tickets available much earlier than in most years," CSU Director of Athletics Lee Reed said.

"I think that we have put together a schedule that will entertain our fans," Reed continued. "Demands for tickets is already high for the Ohio State game at Quicken Loans Arena (Dec. 18), which will be the inaugural contest of the McLendon Scholarship Series.

Packages for the 15-game home schedule begin at just $120 for end zone seats, $180 for corner seats and $225 for mid-court locations. Courtside seats, which include membership in the Viking Club at the Big Green Level, are $870 for mid-court and $900 for courtside seating. Each season ticket holder is also assured of a prime seat location for the Dec. 18 home game vs. Ohio State that will be played at Quicken Loans Arena.

"Our season ticket holders always get the best seats at the best price, and it will be no different for the Ohio State game," Reed added.

The home schedule features nine Horizon League contests, including the first meeting with new member Valparaiso since 1993-94. In addition to the McLendon Scholarship Series contest against Ohio State, the Vikings will also host Cal State Northridge, Central Michigan and a team TBA as part of the ESPNU BracketBusters (Feb.23).

Single game ticket discounts are available for groups of 25 or more for all games are also available.
