CSU senior Norris Cole
l Registered his third straight 20-point effort (and 22nd of his career), finishing with 21
l Was 11-for-13 from the line, including 6-for-6 in the final 1:00
l Added 6 rebounds and 3 assists.

CSU junior Jeremy Montgomery
l Found his scoring touch in the second stanza, scoring all of his season-high 14 points after the intermission.
l Was 6-for-12 from the field in the second half (0-5 in first).

CSU sophomore Tim Kamczyc
l Scored in double figures for the fourt time in his career, finishing with 13 points.
l Was 5-for-8 from the field with 5 rebounds.
l Hit the three-pointer with 7:00 left that gave CSU its first second half lead (53-50).

CSU junior Aaron Pogue
l Narrowly missed a double-double, finishing the night with 9 points and 9 rebounds.
l Fouled out with 28.7 seconds left.

Miscellaneous Notes
l This was the championship game of the 2010 World Vision Classic with CSU winning all three of its games to claim the title. Bryant defeated Iona, 74-72, in the third place game.
l This was the 44th meeting between CSU and Kent State with the Golden Flashes entering the contest with a 26-17 series edge.
l The all-tournament team consisted of Bryant's Frankie Dodds, Kent State's Justin Greene and Carlton Guyton and the Cleveland State trio of Norris Cole, Trevon Harmon and Aaron Pogue with Cole being tabbed as the MVP.
l CSU improves to 3-0 for the fifth time in school h istory and first time since 2004-05.
l The game was tied at 2, 4, 6 & 8 before Kent State went on a 12-2 run to take a 20-10 lead with 9:35 left in the half. CSU would close to within 6 (20-14, 8:22) and Kent State would lead by as many as 12 (three times).
l The Golden Flashes led by as many as 16 in the second half (45-29, 15:51) before CSU used a 21-5 run to tie the game at 50-50 (7:37) and then take a 53-50 lead on a Tim Kamczyc trey with 7:00 left.
l CSU took a 63-61 lead on a Kamczyc basket off an offensive rebound and four straight Cole free throws put the Vikings ahead, 67-61 with 46.3 seconds left. KSU had a chance to send it to overtime but Justin Green's trey at the buzzer was short.
l Trey Harmon's streak of 29 straight free throws made ended when he went 0-2 in the game. It was the second-longest streak in CSU history.
l CSU battled back from a an -11 rebounding disadvantage in the first half to out-rebound KSU, 23-17 (KSU had a 47-42 edge for the game.)
l CSU turned the ball over a season-low 8 times, including three in the first half.
l The Vikings had a 21-14 edge in second chance points, grabbing 18 offensive rebounds.
