CSU senior Norris Cole
- The Viking senior recorded his 20th 20-point game of the year (39th career), finishing with 27 points.
- Raised his career scoring total to 1960, allowing him to move past Clinton Ransey (1,946 pts) and into third place on the CSU career scoring chart.
- Went 6-for-6 from the line, giving him 30 consecutive free throws made over the last four games.

CSU junior Aaron Pogue
- Reached double figures in scoring for the 16th time this season, finishing with 11 points.
- Added 8 rebounds.

Miscellaneous Notes
- This was CSU's fourth appearance in the NIT with the Vikings now owning a 3-3 record in those tourneys. The Vikings will advance to play College of Charleston, who defeated Dayton tonight.
- This is the third time in four NIT trips that the Vikings advanced past the first round.
- The Vikings improve to 3-0 all-time against the Catamounts.
- The win was the 100th in the CSU coaching career of Gary Waters, improving hum to 100-70 in five seasons (and 271-205 in 15 years).
- The win allowed the Vikings to claim their 27th win of the season, the second-highest single season total in CSU history and two short of the school record of 29 set in 1985-86.
- The victory was also the 17th of the year at home, an ongoing school record (old mark 15 in 1985-86 and 1987-88).
- The Catamounts enjoyed a +16 rebounding edge (45-29), including 22-11 in the first half.
- CSU countered by forcing 16 UVM turnovers, committing just 10, and had a 16-12 edge in points off turnovers.
- UVM shot .500 in the first half (13-26) but was just 11-for-32, .344 in the second (.414 for the game).
- After shooting .700 or better from the line in 10 straight games, CSU was just 16-for-27.
