CSU Junior Norris Cole
-Reached double figures for the 27th time this year, totalling 15 points.
-Set a career high with 11 assists for his third career double-double.

CSU Junior D'Aundray Brown
-Scored in double figures for the 15th time this season, totaling 10 points.
-Was four-for-six from the field with five rebounds
-The Horizon League leader in steals (16th nationally), he made 2 to raise his season total to 81, sixth best in CSU history.

CSU Sophomore Aaron Pogue
-Reached double figures for the 8th time this year (third in league play), finishing with 13 points
-Added 7 rebounds.

CSU Sophomore Jeremy Montgomery
-Reached double figures for the 20th time in 21 games, tallying 11 points
-Went 2-for-6 from three to raise his three-point field goal total to 67, fifth-best in school history.
-Also handed out 4 assists

Miscellaneous Notes
-This was the 37th meeting between Cleveland State and Loyola with the Ramblers entering the contest with a 22-14 series lead but the Vikings had five of the last six (and four straight).
-This was the third time that CSU and Loyola have met in postseason play with both previous games being played in Chicago. In 1999, CSU defeated Loyola, 65-59, in the quarterfinals at the UIC Pavilion. In 2003, CSU lost a first round game at Loyola, 69-57.
-Loyola took a 5-2 lead early (18:53) before CSU ran off 10 straight points to lead, 12-5 (15:22). Loyola closed to within 14-10 (13:34), but the Vikings ran off 12 of the next 13 points to lead 26-11 (10:17). CSU led by as many as 20 (42-22, 2:12 & 44-24, 1:46) before leading 44-27 at half.
-Loyola gradually fought back, closing to within 57-52 (8:00) but CSU ran off seven straight to lead 64-52 (6:15) and Loyola could come no closer down the stretch.
-Cleveland State advances to play the winner of the Milwaukee-UIC game on Friday (March 5) at 8:00 p.m.
-Trey Harmon returned to action at the 13:34 mark of the first half after missing the previous 3 1/2 games with a consussion suffered late in the first half at Milwaukee (Feb. 18). He played 13 minutes, scoring three points.
-The Vikings shot well in the first half 16-for-25 (.640) and was 28-for-53 (528) for the game.
-Loyola struggled in the first half, shooting just .280 (7-25) and was just 19-for-57 for the game (.333).
-CSU matched a season high, blocking six shots.
-CSU handed out 20 assists on 28 baskets.
