GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) - Theo Dixon converted a three-point play with 1.6 seconds left to carry Cleveland State past Wisconsin-Green Bay 63-60 in a Midwestern Collegiate Conference game Saturday night.

Dixon was fouled as he drilled a 15-foot jumper from the left baseline. The play capped a 12-3 game-ending run as the Vikings overcame a 57-51 deficit with 2:14 left to play.

Dixon had a rough night shooting otherwise, connecting on just four of 18 field goal attempts. The Vikings (18-12, 9-5 MCC) originally opted to go to Jamaal Harris, who scored a game-high 28 points, for the last shot.

"We put Theo up on top, so if they were going to double team we'd pop Theo out and have the opportunity to take the ball to the goal," said Cleveland State coach Rollie Massimino.

The loss marks the third time this season Wisconsin-Green Bay (11-16, 4-10) has been foiled at the buzzer. They also lost at home to Wright State and at Loyola as time expired.

"It's very hard," Wisconsin-Green Bay coach Mike Heideman said. "You have to keep your head up."

The Phoenix led at halftime 31-26 and went up by seven in the second half. But Wisconsin-Green Bay didn't score a field goal in the final 3:30. Cleveland State made five of its last six shots and all five of its free throws in the rally.

Chancellor Collins came off the bench to lead the Phoenix with 16 points.
