MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
• This was the 71st meeting all-time between Cleveland State and YSU with the Penguins now owning a slim 36-35 lead.
• CSU scored the first 10 points of the game, part of a 15-2 burst that gave the Vikings a 15-2 lead with 14:39 left. The lead would be as many as 14 (22-8, 9:22) and YSU would close to within nine once (24-15, 6:31) before CSU led, 34-23, at half.
• CSU forced 17 turnovers and made 15 steals, equaling its season high (15 vs. Notre Dame College).
• The Vikings were out-shot from the field in the game, marking just the second time in 10 games this year that CSU won a game despite being out-shot (other at Syracuse).
• The win allowed the Vikings to improve to 20-8 on the year, recording the seventh 20-win season in school history and the first back-to-back 20-win campaigns since CSU won 20 in four straight seasons from 1984-85 to 1987-88.
• The Vikings also improved to 12-2 at home this season, tying the Wolstein Center record for wins in a season, which was originally set last year.
• The win was CSU's seventh straight this year, the most since CSU won a school-record 14 straight in 1992-93.
