CSU Junior Norris Cole
-Scored in double figures for the 52nd time in his career, finishing with 17 points.
-Added 5 assists, 2 rebounds and 3 steals.
-Raised his career scoring total to 1,087 points (16th).

CSU Sophomore Jeremy Montgomery
-Scored in double figures for he 15th straight game, totalling 11 points.
-Ranked second in the league in free throw percentage (.866), he went 5-for-6
. -Had his streak of 15 straight games with at least one three-point field goal snapped (0-3).

CSU Junior D'Aundray Brown
-Battled foul trouble to score in double figures for 11th time this season, finishing with 14 points.
-He was 7-for-9 from the field.

Miscellaneous Notes
-This was the 34th meeting between CSU and Butler with the Bulldogs entering the game with a 26-7 series lead.
-The Vikings move into a temporary second place tie in the Horizon League standings with Green Bay and Wright State, who play each other tonight at WSU. All three teams have 9-5 league marks.
-The loss drops CSU to 5-35 all-time against ranked opponents and 4-10 under head coach Gary Waters. This was the school-record sixth game against a ranked opponent this year (CSU is 0-6).
-CSU won the jump ball for the 21st time in 26 games this year and the 12th time in 14 league games.
-The first half featured three ties and three lead changes. The Vikings led by as many as six (16-10, 11:03 & 18-12, 9:56) while Butler led by three points on four occasions. Butler's Gordon Hayward scored at the buzzer to give the Bulldogs a 29-27 lead at halftime.
-Foul trouble was an issue for CSU in the first half as the Vikings were whistled for 12 fouls. Starters Trey Harmon, D'Aundray Brown, Aaron Pogue and reserve Jared Cunningham each had two fouls with Butler going 11-for-13 from the line. No Butler player had more than one foul in the first half.
-Butler opened the second half with a 14-6 run to take a 43-33 lead with 13:31 left. The Vikings would come no closer than six down the stretch (48-42, 8:19).
-CSU won the battle of turnovers, committing just seven while forcing 17 (12 steals). It was CSU's 13th game of 12 or fewer turnovers.
-Trey Harmon went 4-for-4 from the line to extend his streak of consecutive makes at the line to 18 in a row. Over the last 10 games, he is 34-for-35.
