Recap |  Final Stats |  Notes

Cleveland State Head Coach Gary Waters:
"There were some things that occured that gave us some encouragement and allowed us to take a step forward. We wanted to push the ball and that really put pressure on their defense. We got inside of them and in my estimation, J'Nathan (Bulock) had one of the most fabulous games since I have been here. We set a new mission for ourselves after our five game losing streak and I think our guys are back now."

"You can't go that many games in a row with bad shooting and eventually something good was going to happen. We changed our offense against the zone. We are attacking it more as opposed to just moving it around. I had to see what our problem was and the conclusion I came to is that we were not getting enough movement. And that's what we spent yesterday and today on."

"If we didn't get things back on track, we could have been knocked all the way out and that was a concern of mine. Now we have to go on the road and play our very best. If we can play anywhere close to how we played today, we'll have a chance."

"I said today we must go out and play and shoot with confidence. I told the team that we had to play much harder than our opponent. And the last statement I made was that we had to play together."

"This team is still a year away. Now we are going through growing pains. The first thing we had to do was go on the road and face some adversity. They had to learn how to bounce back and they have done that. Our guys understand that if we have to do what we do. We have to play how we play and play against ourselves."

Cleveland State's J'Nathan Bullock:
"It was nothing special and I didn't really feel anything special. Coach was a prophet tonight because he told us before the game that we were going to have a good shooting night. I am disappointed in myself because I missed two straight free throws. I need to get that straightened out."

"We have to play together because that is our identity. We are a family and always play together. This was very important for us. When we were on the road, we knew we had to make adjustments when we got back home and I think we did a great job of that."

"I've got to give credit to the coaching staff because they got my psyche back."

Cleveland State's Breyohn Watson:
"Coach has been on me about being a leader. It's my job to hold eveyrbody accountable on the defensive end. I encourage my teammates and get in their tails when that time is needed."

"They shot around 53 percent in the first half. We really take pride as a team playing defense. We put a lot of emphasis on it at halftime and got the job done in the second half."

Green Bay Head Coach Tod Kowalczyk:
"Obviously a disappointing second half. I felt that we just didn't have the energy or they enthusiasm that we have been playing with all season. This team has consistently gotten better as the season went on. Bullock was better than good. Tonight, he was one of the better players in the league. We didn't have any answers for him defensively and that was the story of the game."

"They played very well and we played real poor. I'm surprised by our lack of energy in the second half. We did some great things in the first half, but didn't have life in the second half. Our point guard play was not very good tonight. We have to find a way to solve that quickly."
