Cleveland State Head Coach Gary Waters:
"We didn't end the game as well as we should have, we didn't play the same second half as we did the first half. We had too many turnovers and that's not what we do."

"I thought we lost focus in the second half, and we lost our concentration as the game went on. I need to make sure that we maintain that during the entire game."

"We are getting ready to go on one of the most important road trips of our season and we really need to focus on that. This game didn't really help us prepare for that trip though."

"We missed some free throws down the stretch and we didn't take care of the basketball and that was disappointing."

"With Jeremy picking up his shooting that forces teams to put defenders on him and it helps free up Norris and it works the other way as well."

"Right now we are tied for second in the league and we still have four games at home. We are right in the thick of things and that's why this trip coming up is so important. I feel better because we are coming off a win, but we didn't play to our full ability tonight."

"As the leader of the team coach wants me to take charge of the game, if it's getting somebody else a play or making a play myself, I need to put my team in a position where we can win."

"Their field goal percentage is indicative of the first half, because we let them back in during the second half and we need to work on making a complete game working during both halves."

Cleveland State's D'Aundray Brown:
"It's always big to win at home especially with the conference games. I always pride myself in trying to get back-tips and getting the ball from the defender and that worked out well for me today with my rebounding."

Cleveland State's Jeremy Montgomery:
"I felt I had a good rhythm in tonight's game shooting, I had too many turnovers and that is something I need to work on."

Youngstown State Head Coach Jerry Slocum:
"Offensively we played much better in the second half. You aren't going to win games in this league if you miss layups like we did tonight. It's tough to beat a good basketball team when you do that and that was a major factor in this game. A lot of our kids played hard and it's disappointing when you don't finish like we did."
