CLEVELAND (AP) - Theo Dixon scored 25 points and pulled down seven rebounds as Cleveland State beat Wisconsin-Milwaukee 57-34.

Milwaukee (10-10, 2-5 Midwestern Collegiate Conference) opened the scoring with a 9-0 run. Cleveland State (13-9, 5-2) went on a 12-3 run and tied it up 12-12 at the 9:03 mark. Andre Williams' layup put the Vikings ahead and they stayed in front the rest of the game.

Cleveland State led 28-19 at the half and were up by 25 points at one point.

Milwaukee was hurt by poor shooting, making just 23 percent (12-of-52) from the field and 5 percent (1-of-19) of 3-pointers. Cleveland State shot 44 percent (23-of-52) from the field.

Cleveland State also outrebounded Milwaukee 45-to-30 and had 11 assists compared with five for the Panthers.

Dixon made all three free throw attempts and 4-of-6 3-pointers. Both Williams and Jamaal Harris lead the Vikings in rebounds with eight each.

Chad Angeli lead Milwaukee with 12 points and 10 rebounds while Clay Tucker added 10 points and three assists.
