POSTGAME QUOTES

Coach Gary Waters
"There are some positive things that truly occurred out there. I think we did a good job on the glass. We turned the ball over too many times and we weren't good at that today. We did have 18 assists but I told the guys how proud I was of the effort on the glass. That was a great positive."

"I told the team at halftime that we weren't locking into them defensively and we were committing too many fouls. We need to stop doing that because that lets teams hang with us. We work hard on defense and then we commit petty fouls that are unnecessary. We need to do a much better job of not letting our opponents get to the line. I also wanted to focus on our turnovers. They had 27 points off of our turnovers. That can't happen."

"Our team is all about hustle plays. One of the parts of ugliness is letting it all hang out on the line."

"You have to take care of your home court. If you don't do that, the road games don't mean anything."

"Aaron Pogue was about to have a great game. He probably played the best seven minutes you'll see. I feel for the kid. He knows he can't get fouls like that. I thought he took it straight to them."

"Anton Grady is working hard. He knows he has to be one of the better rebounders in the county and he keeps working at that. He had some lay-ups he missed tonight, but those things will come. Those were left-handed shots he missed and once that becomes part of his game, he'll be a really tough guy to defend. He fought through some things, but he's earned time. He's going to be our future."

Senior Forward D'Aundray Brown
"Coach told me I was shooting shots that were out of character. I tried to get good shots where I was in a good rhythm. I took good shots I take in practice."

"We practiced all week on our guards being in the paint - we call it gang rebounding."

Senior Guard Trevon Harmon
"Games like this are setup games. You can't look past any team in this league, so we took this game very serious. Now we can start getting ready for Milwaukee."

"I was taking what the defense gave me. Coach told me to be patient and the shots would come. I was taking good shots and they were falling for me tonight."

"For the guys to come off the bench and help us a lot, that's exactly what we're looking for. If they keep doing that, we're going to go a long way."
