CSU senior Norris Cole
- Recorded his 27th career 20-point game (8th this year), totalling 21 points.
- The Horizon League leader in assists and steals, he added 6 assists and 6 steals.
- Was 3-for-3 from the line (is 96-for-113 this year).

CSU junior Trevon Harmon
- Scored a career-high 24 points, his third career 20-point game
- Was 7-for-10 from the field and 4-for-7 from three-point.
- Ranked second in the Horizon League in steals, he made 4 today

CSU junior Jeremy Montgomery
- Took the ball inside, scoring 13 points
- Was 4-for-6 shooting from two-point to offset a cold night from the perimeter (1-for-5 from three-point).

Miscellaneous Notes
- This was the 67th meeting between CSU and UIC, the second most-often played opponent by CSU, with the Vikings now owning a 35-32 series lead, including six straight wins.
- The win improved CSU to 15-1 on the year, making the Vikings the first 15-game winner in the country. CSU is also 4-0 in Horizon League play. UIC slipped to 5-10 (0-3).
- The win also extended CSU's Wolstein Center winning streak to 12 (10-0 this year), leaving CSU one win short of the building record of 13 wins set from Dec., 20098 to Nov. 2009.
- The Vikings jumped out to leads of 6-0 (17:25) and 22-10 (12:42). UIC would close to within 23-17 (9:54) before CSU extended to advantage to 13 (33-20, 4:08) and did not lead by less 10 the rest of the half, leading 40-28 at the break.
- A 9-1 CSU run to open the second half pushed the lead to 20 (49-29, 18:06). UIC would come no closer than 17 the rest of the way.
- CSU's pressure defense led to a (+18) turnover margin as the Vikings forced a season-high matching 24 turnvors (season high matching 14 steals) while committing just 6. The margin led to CSU having a 21-5 edge in points of turnovers.
- The 24 turnovers by UIC marked the fourth time that a CSU opponent had 20 or more turnovers in a game. (old high 24 by St. Bonaventure & South Florida, 22 by West Virginia Tech).
- Tim Kamczyc equalled his career high with 7 rebounds (old seven vs. Wright State, 2/27/10).
- Sophomore Anthony Wells played in just his second game because of a knee injury, playing the final three minutes.
