CLEVELAND, Ohio – Cleveland State head men's basketball coach Dennis Felton has announced that three student-athletes - Jaalam Hill (Louisville, Ky./Waggener HS/Southwestern Illinois), Seth Millner (Grand Rapids, Mich./Grand Rapids Christian) and Dibaji Walker (Columbus, Ohio/Independence/Woodstock Academy) - have signed National Letters of Intent to join the Viking basketball program.

Hill will have two seasons of eligibility, while Millner and Walker will both have four years.

"I am so excited about our 2018 class, including the earlier additions of Deante 'Spider' Johnson and Rashad Williams and what each of them mean to the future of Viking basketball," Felton said. "As our fans can see, we are building a roster of players that are not only very talented, but also have a high-competitive fiber and bring the kind of character that will allow us to build a championship caliber program that makes everyone proud.

"We have a style of play built around aggression, pace and space and love players who are long, athletic, versatile, smart, skilled and team-oriented. This is a class that's representative of those characteristics and our returning players are looking forward to each of them arriving on campus to start the process of showing them 'The Viking Way'."

The 6-foot-7 Hill is a native of Louisville, Ky., who played at Waggener HS and has spent the last two seasons as a standout for Southwestern Illinois College under head coach Jay Harrington.

This past season, Hill averaged 18.9 points, 8.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game, leading the squad to a 25-8 record and a spot in the District XVI championship game. The 64th ranked junior college player in the nation, Hill shot .548 from the field and .444 from three-point, helping the team reach the top-25 in the country at numerous points during the season.

During his first season at Southwestern Illinois, Hill averaged 20.9 points, 8.1 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game, while shooting .510 from the field. He posted five double-doubles and scored at least 20 points in 19 games to earn Honorable Mention All-American honors.

Hill was the NJCAA Region 24 Freshman of the Year and was a first team all-region and All-Great Rivers Athletic Conference selection in each of his two seasons.

In 65 career games, Hill amassed more than 1,250 points and 500 rebounds.

"We are very excited to have Jaalam join our program," Felton said. "In addition to the productivity Jaalam will bring, his experience and leadership will be very valuable to our team considering how young our roster will be next year. Jaalam has had the experience the last two years of leading his team and being relied on to be a "go-to" player with exceptional results. He is also well-built for our position-less approach to the game with his length, athleticism and versatility allowing him to be effective all over the floor. He can score from everywhere, can defend every position and has excellent feel for how to make his teammates better."

The 6-foot-6 Millner had a strong senior season at Grand Rapids Christian HS, averaging 20.1 points, 9.4 rebounds and 3.6 assists en route to earning Class A First Team All-State honors from the Michigan Associated Press and the Detroit News. Playing for head coach Mark Warners, Millner led Grand Rapids Christian to its third straight district championship and a spot in the regional championship as the only returning starter from the previous season.

As a junior, Millner helped Grand Rapids Christian to a 26-1 record and a runner-up finish at the state tournament. He was named to the All-Area East Team.

"I'm very excited to have the opportunity to coach Seth and have him as part of our program," Felton said. "He is that big guard that we were looking for. At 6-foot-6 and 205 pounds, we will take full advantage of his complete skill set on both ends of the court. Seth can score at all three levels, but he is also a selfless teammate who values sharing the experience with his teammates in order to help the team excel. Seth is a long, athletic player who enjoys defending and competing with toughness. His versatility enhances his opportunity to contributue to our position-less style of basketball and we're excited to watch him develop as a player."

The 6-foot-7 Walker played for one of the nation's premier prep programs last year under coach Tony Bergeron and averaged 11.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game. Walker helped lead Woodstock Academy Gold to a 35-5 record against one of the most rigorous schedules in the country. The team finished the season as the third ranked prep program in the country and won the Power 5 Conference AAA Championship.

He was ranked 14th in the Connecticut Class of 2018.

Walker averaged 17.8 points as a senior at Columbus Independence HS, earning honorable mention All-Ohio honors. His father, Samaki, was a standout at Louisville (1994-96) and was the ninth pick in the 1996 NBA Draft by the Dallas Mavericks.

"We're thrilled to have Dibaji join our program," Felton said. "He is an outstanding in-state talent who is extremely long, quick, mobile and skilled. We're going to really enjoy his exceptional length on the wing. Dibaji has outstanding upside and I believe the ambition and drive to see that exciting potential come to fruition in a way that all CSU fans will be excited. Dibaji has terrific offensive and defensive skills and he's eager to learn and grow. I am excited to coach Dibaji and help him maximize all of his gifts. He will be a very important part of our future success."

A special episode of "The Dennis Felton Radio Show" has been added on May 21 to talk about the incoming class. The show, hosted by Al Pawlowski, will air at 7:00 pm on AM 1420-WHK.

The Vikings advanced to the Horizon League Championship game this year in Felton's first year as head coach. It was CSU's first title game appearance since 2009.
