Cleveland State Announces 2017-18 Non-League Schedule

2017-18 SCHEDULE

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- One day after the Horizon League announced the 2017-18 composite schedule, the Cleveland State men's basketball program finalized its schedule with the announcement of its non-league slate which features 13 games.

The Vikings will host Cedarville on Nov. 2 in its lone exhibition game of the preseason before opening the regular season at Akron on Nov. 11 in the Third Annual Northeast Ohio Coaches vs. Cancer Doubleheader.

CSU will then travel to Rutgers (Nov. 14), host Coppin State (Nov. 17), head to East Carolina (Nov. 20) and host Central Connectucut State (Nov. 24) as part of the Phil Sellers Showcase.

First year head coach Dennis Felton and the Vikings will welcome Arkansas State to the Wolstein Center on Nov. 28 as a return game from last year before the Vikings head on the road for games at Kent State (Dec. 2) and Western Michigan (Dec. 6).

Following a home game against Notre Dame (OH) on Dec. 10, the Vikings will play three of their final four non-league games on the road, traveling to Niagara (Dec. 19), Cincinnati (Dec. 21) and Michigan State (Dec. 29) with a home game against Toledo on Dec. 23 in between.
