Selected as the Vikings' Outstanding Freshmen...was the Horizon League runner up in the 100 breastroke, and a finalist in the 200 breastroke...also placed third as part of the 200 medley relay...posted the team's best times in the 100 breastroke (57.16) and 200 breastroke (2:06.10).

Was a finalist at the 2001 Swedish National Championships in the 100 and 200 breaststrokes...participated in the Swedish Junior National Championships from 1998 through 2001.
