Columbus, OH-Senior Jesse Ndjeka is set to compete for the Men's Epee National Championship this weekend at the NCAA Fencing Championship hosted by Ohio State University in Columbus.

Ndjeka is one of 24 fencers from across the country who will compete in the men's epee bracket. Ndjeka is in Pool 3 for the opening round of competition and will compete against student-athletes from Ohio State, Johns Hopkins, Yale and Harvard. The first three rounds of the tournament will take place on Saturday with the final two rounds of pool play scheduled for Sunday.

Should Ndjeka advance, he would compete in the semifinals and final matches scheduled for Sunday afternoon.

Ndjeka won the men's epee title at the CCFC Championship meet two weeks ago and finished sixth in the Midwest Regional last week to punch his ticket to the national championship. This is Ndjeka's first trip to the NCAA finals.
