Fencing Schedule, Captains Announced

CLEVELAND, Ohio - First-year Cleveland State men's and women's fencing coach James Fazekas announced the 2015-16 schedule and captains on Tuesday.

The team will open October 3rd and 4th at the Ohio State Open/Duals before a four-week hiatus. The Vikings will then travel to the Northwestern Duals on Halloween (Oct. 31).

CSU wraps up 2015 competition when they head down the road to the Case Western Reserve Duals on November 14th.

As they transition from January to February, the Vikings will compete twice in a week when they head back to Northwestern for the Varsity Duals (Jan. 31) before hosting the CSU John Szent Kirali Open the following Saturday (Feb. 6).

The Midwest Conference Championships will take place over a two-day span in February at the Ohio State University. Individuals will compete on Saturday (Feb. 27) before Sunday's (Feb. 28) team competition.

Ohio State will also host the NCAA Regional Championships on March 12th before Brandeis University in Boston, Massachusetts hosts the NCAA National Championships on March 24-27.

For the season, both the men's and women's team will have three captains apiece:

Women's Varsity:
