INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Horizon League announced the Raise Your Sights award winners for the 2019-20 academic year Wednesday afternoon, with the men's tennis and women's soccer teams earning the accolades for Cleveland State.

COMPLETE LIST OF RAISE YOUR SIGHTS AWARD WINNERS

Head Coach Dallas Boyer's women's soccer team posted a 3.776 GPA for the 2019-20 academic year, while head coach Brian Etzkin's men's tennis team finished with a 3.615 team GPA for the year.

This marks the third straight year that Etzkin's men's tennis team has posted Cleveland State's top GPA on the male side, while it marks the second straight year that Boyer's women's soccer team has claimed the top GPA on the female side.

Boyer and the Vikings represent the only women's soccer team to earn the Raise Your Sights award this season, finishing the 2019-20 academic year with 41 combined Dean's List honors and 19 perfect 4.0's throughout both semesters.

Etzkin and the Vikings finished the shortened 2020 spring campaign with a 6-6 record – playing one of their most competitive schedules to-date – and were poised to capture their third straight #HLMTEN Tournament title. Throughout the year, they combined for six Dean's List honors.

The Raise Your Sights Award is presented annually by the Horizon League to the top academic male and female teams from each league institution that compete in a league-sponsored sport.
