CSU Giving Day 2020
-Your chance to #GiveVikes2020 on Cleveland State University's annual Giving Day will be Wednesday, February 12.
-For 24 straight hours you will be able to donate to your favorite Viking team at CSUGivingDay.Com, and help support fundraising initiatives for the entire athletic department.

Men's Basketball
-Cleveland State (9-16, 5-7) will conclude its three-game road trip with matchups at Oakland (February 13) and Detroit Mercy (February 15) this week.
-Despite holding a halftime lead, the Vikings fell to Youngstown State on the road, 67-55, in their lone action last week.
-Junior Algevon Eichelberger posted a team-high 21 points in the setback.

Women's Basketball
-Cleveland State (17-7, 7-6) will hit the road for a single game this weekend, traveling to Youngstown State for a 1:00 p.m. contest on Saturday, February 15.
-Last time out, the Vikings split their games during a two-game homestand, picking up a 66-62 victory over Northern Kentucky and dropping a hard fought 75-73 contest against Wright State.
-Through the two games, the Vikings recorded three 20-point performances, as Mariah White posted 28 against NKU and Mariah Miller (26 pts) and Jade Ely (20 pts) both recorded 20+ point games against WSU.

Indoor Track & Field
-The Vikings will continue their indoor schedule at the Doug Raymond National Qualifier this weekend, participating in the two-day event on Friday, February 14 and Saturday, February 15.
-Last time out, the Vikings competed at the Akron Invitational and Oberlin College BSN Invitational, with Anna Brandt posting CSU's top finish at the Akron Invite with a sixth place finish in the 800 Meter Run (2:15.61) and Margaret Smith placing second in the same event at the Oberlin Invite with a time of 2:26.53.

Wrestling
-Cleveland State will close the regular season this weekend with a pair of duals.
-The Vikings will travel to Bloomsburg Friday (February 14) before hosting Michigan State Sunday (February 16) in their regular-season finale.
-CSU dropped a 24-6 contest to Northern Illinois in their lone action of the past week.
-Redshirt senior Evan Cheek won his bout against the Huskies, his team-leading 31st win of the season.

Lacrosse
-Cleveland State will continue its road trip this weekend as it travels to No. 7 Notre Dame Saturday, February 15.
-The Vikings dropped their road opener this past weekend, coming up short at Michigan, 16-9.
-Junior Tristan Hanna registered his second straight hat trick to open the season, which was the 10th of his career.

Softball
-Cleveland State will open its season this weekend at the Cardinal Invitational hosted by Incarnate Word.
-The Vikings will play five games from February 14-16, facing Delaware twice along with matchups against Fairleigh Dickinson, Grambling State and the host Cardinals.
-Amy Kyler will be in her second season leading the Vikings.
-Senior Kelly Hysong, a two-way threat, returns to lead the Vikings on offense and in the circle after leading CSU in numerous categories last season.

Women's Tennis
-Cleveland State (4-1) will split its time at home and on the road this weekend, traveling to Buffalo for a 1:00 p.m. contest on Friday, February 14 and hosting Seton Hall at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, February 16.
-Last time out, the Vikings split their matches against Toledo and Bowling Green, picking up a 5-2 win over the Rockets and dropping a 6-1 match against the Falcons.
-Kateryna Avram notched singles wins in both matches, improving to 5-0 this spring, while she teamed with Blanche Lenoan to pick up a pair of wins at No. 2 doubles to stay perfect on the season (5-0).

Men's Tennis
-The Vikings (4-3) will continue their current four-match roadswing this weekend, traveling to Ball State (Friday, February 14) and Valparaiso (Saturday, February 15).
-Last time out, Cleveland State picked up a 6-1 win at Xavier and dropped a hard fought 5-2 decision at Louisville.
-Nico Mostardi entered the weekend ranked 86th nationally, and went 2-0 at the top of the singles lineup, including a straight-set win against #66 Tin Chen of Louisville.

Viking Of The Week
Nico Mostardi, Men's Tennis
After entering the week ranked 86thin the latest Oracle ITA National Singles Rankings, Mostardi posted a 2-0 record at the top of the singles lineup against Xavier and Louisville. To open the weekend, Mostardi earned a 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 win against Xavier's Brett Winters, and then followed that up with a 7-6(1), 6-4 win against #66 Tin Chen of Louisville. His two wins extended his current winstreak to six consecutive matches, while he moved into a tie for fourth place on the CSU Singles Wins List with 82 career victories.
