The Cleveland State women's soccer team produced the best season in school history in 2018, culminating in a run to the Horizon League Tournament championship match.

The Vikings, who finished second in the Horizon League regular season standings, defeated Detroit Mercy 2-1 in the tournament semifinals to earn the school's first-ever appearance in the championship match.

In addition to advancing to the tournament championship for the first time, Cleveland State also finished the 2018 season with a school-record 11 victories overall and a school-record six wins in Horizon League play.#HLWSOC

Sarah Krause, Dani Sowinski and McKenna Vento were each named First Team All-Horizon League, which marked the first time in program history that the Vikings had more than two first-team honorees.
