A LOOK AT WHAT'S HAPPENING

Men's Golf
• CSU opens play in the Horizon League Championship on Sunday (April 23) at Mission Inn Resort in Florida. The tournament runs through Tuesday.
• The Vikings have won three straight League titles and seven of the last 11 overall.
• CSU closed the regular season by finishing third of 13 teams at the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational over the weekend.
• Blake Prince shot three straight rounds of even par 70 to finish fourth, while Patrick Luth tied for 10th place, his fifth top-10 finish this year.

Women's Golf
• CSU begins play in the Horizon League Championship on Sunday (April 23) at Mission Inn Resort in Florida.
• The tournament will run from Sunday through Tuesday with teams playing 18 holes each day.
• CSU concluded the regular season with a tri-meet against Bowling Green and Youngstown State on Friday at Pine Hills. The Vikings shot 326 to finish behind YSU (310) and Bowling Green (317).
• Sophie Kelner shot 78 and tied for fourth place to lead CSU, while Ellie Cronin and Rayna Oosterhuis shot 82 and tied for eighth place.

Men's Lacrosse
• Cleveland State (4-8) plays its road finale on Saturday, April 22, at Sacred Heart at 12:00 pm.
• The Vikings returned home for the first time in over a month last weekend and ran out to a 12-1 lead after three quarters en route to a 13-7 win over Walsh.
• Tristen Copeland posted a team season high seven points in the victory on two goals and five assists. Chase Baker scored a team season best five goals in the win and Caleb Espinoza stopped 11 of 12 shots on goal he faced.

Softball
• CSU travels to Northern Kentucky for a three-game series this weekend, The Vikings will play a single game at 4:00 pm on Friday (April 21) and a doubleheader at 12:00 pm on Saturday (April 22).
• The Vikings dropped all three games at home to Valparaiso over the weekend. Bailee Gray and Riley Ries both hit .333 (3-9) in the series with Mackenzie Joecken and Hanna Breeden both driving in two runs.
• Kristin Catalano worked 8 2/3 innings in the series with two relief appearances. She posted a 1.62 ERA and three strikeouts.

Men's Tennis
• The Vikings (8-14, 2-4 HL) will hit the road for the final time during regular season play this weekend, traveling to DePaul (Saturday, April 22) and Green Bay (Sunday, April 23) for a pair of matches.
• Cleveland State dropped a 6-1 decision at Youngstown State last time out, with Andre Mick picking up the lone point at No. 6 singles.

Women's Tennis
• Cleveland State (12-9, 6-1 HL) will close out the regular season this weekend, traveling to Milwaukee (Saturday, April 22) and Green Bay (Sunday, April 23) for the final two Horizon League matches of the season.
• The Vikings had their seven-match win streak snapped on Saturday, dropping a 6-1 decision at Youngstown State for their first league loss of the season.
• Jana Schooner picked up CSU's lone point against the Penguins, earning a 0-6, 6-2, 6-1 victory at No. 5 singles.

Women's Track & Field
• Cleveland State will have a week off from competition, returning to action at the Ashland Alumni Invitational on April 28-29.
• The Vikings competed at the All-Ohio Championship over the weekend recording a trio of top-five finishes - Karen Barrientos (5000 Meter Run - 4th), Bridget Smik (100 Meter Dash - 5th), 4x400 Meter Relay (4th).

VIKING OF THE WEEK

Blake Prince| Junior | Men's Golf | East Liverpool, Ohio

Prince finished fourth (85 players) at the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational over the weekend to help CSU to a third place finish out of 13 teams. Prince shot three straight rounds of even-par 70 to post a 54 hole total of 210, his lowest of the season. Prince led the field with 37 pars in the tournament.

Kristin Catalano | Jr. | Softball
Worked 8 2/3 innings in two relief appearances over the weekend, posting a 1.62 ERA with three strikeouts.

Tristan Copeland | Fr. | Men's Lacrosse
Had two goals and five assists vs. Walsh on Saturday, posting a team season high seven points in the win.

Sophie Kelner | Jr. | Women's Golf
Shot 78 at the Pine Hills Shootout to tie for fourth place.
