MADISON, Wis. – The Cleveland State cross country team wrapped up the 2016 season Friday afternoon, competing at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional.
The Vikings were paced by Karen Barrientos who finished 163rd overall with a time of 22:58. Barrientos, who led Cleveland State in all nine races this season, marked the ninth fastest 6K time under head coach Joe Jaketic with her mark of 22:58.
Ashlyn Woods and Olivia Hammons were the next two Vikings to cross the finish line, Woods finishing the 6K course with a time of 23:41, and Hammons crossing the finish line in 23:56. Jessica Finley was the fourth Viking to finish, crossing the finish line in 24:49.
Also competing for Cleveland State was the trio of Alanna Shamrock (25:05), Samantha Butterbaugh (25:05), and Emily Marshall (25:17).
