CAREER RACE-BY-RACE RESULTS

2016 // SENIOR SEASON
Competed in all nine races during the season, finishing in Cleveland State’s top-two in eight of the nine races…notched a career-best 5K time of 18:32 at the Jenna Strong Fall Classic – a mark that ranks second in the CSU Record Book…also recorded a pair of sub 20-minute 5K times at the Titan Invitational (19:52) and the Friendship Invitational (19:35)…recorded a season-best 6K time of 23:05 at the LHU Invitational – a mark that ranks 11^th in the CSU Record Book…recorded a 6K time of 23:10 at the All-Ohio Championship – another mark that ranks in the top-15 in the CSU Record Book.

2015 // JUNIOR SEASON
Named the College of Sciences and Health Professions Fall 2015 Outstanding Senior after graduating Summa Cum Laude following just five semesters…earned a spot on the Horizon League Fall All-Academic Team…Cleveland State’s top finisher during five races, and was the second Viking to cross the finish line in three other races…recorded six top-50 5K times and four top-50 6K times throughout the season…posted three sub 19-minute 5K times, including a season-best time of 18:44 as a 5K split at the Lock Haven Invitational – a mark that ranks second on the Cleveland State top-50 5K list…also notched a season-best 6K time at the LHU Invite with a time of 22:25 – a mark that ranks second on the Cleveland State top-50 6K list…named the Horizon League Runner of the Week after her performance at the Lock Haven Invitational…recorded four top-25 individual finishes throughout the year. 

2014 // SOPHOMORE SEASON
Named Second Team All-Horizon League…set school records for both the 5K and 6K courses…was Cleveland State’s top finisher during six of the eight races throughout the season…recorded three top-10 finishes and four top-20 finishes…became the first Cleveland State runner to earn all-league honors after finishing eighth at the Horizon League Championship (Nov. 1) with a 6K time of 22:17 – a mark that broke the program record…also set the 5K record at the league championship, posting an 18:35 5K split during the race…posted a sixth place finish – her highest finish of the season – at the Friendship Invitational (Sept. 20) with a time of 19:15…finished 27^th at the All-Ohio Championship (Oct. 3) with a 6K time of 23:37…placed 22^nd overall at the Mel Brodt Collegiate Opener (Sept. 12) with a time of 18:58…placed 20^th with a time of 19:05 at the WC Fall Classic (Oct. 17).

2013 // FRESHMAN SEASON
Finished as CSU’s top runner during four races, and finished in the top-three in the other five meets…set a 5K personal-best at the Ohio Invitational with a time of 19:14 – marking the 13^th fastest 5K time over the last nine seasons…posted a 6K personal-best at the Friendship Invitational with a time of 24:27…recorded CSU’s 25^th fastest 5K time at the WC Fall Classic, finishing in a time of 19:25.

HIGH SCHOOL
Four-year letterwinner…earned the Outstanding Runner Award for her class all four years…led team to a district championship as a freshman and district runner-up finishes as a sophomore, junior and senior…part of a state qualifying team as a freshman, sophomore and senior…also lettered four years in track and field.

PERSONAL
Born June 28, 1995 in Mayfield Heights, Ohio…daughter of John & Tammy Woods…has one brother, Matthew, and two sisters, Allison and Brooke…graduated with honors…four-year academic excellence award winner…earned Academic All-Ohio as a junior and senior…graduated Summa Cum Laude from Cleveland State with a degree in Speech and Hearing Therapy in December of 2015…currently enrolled in Cleveland State’s Speech and Hearing Masters program.
