
FAIRFAX, VA. - Cleveland State traveled to George Mason for their second EWL meet of the season. The Vikings battled, but fell short 19-12.
CSU drop to 2-2 on the season and 0-2 in the EWL. George Mason improves to 5-4 and 1-0 in the EWL.
The Vikings started in great fashion when Ben Willeford took the first match in a dominating 6-0 decision. After dropping the next three, LaTrell Davis won in a hard fought 8-6 decision. Xavier Dye defeated Ryan Hembury of George Mason, 6-3. Riley Shaw finished strong with a 4-1 decision over Jacob Kettler.
Cleveland State looks to bounce back when they face off against Eastern Michigan on Thursday (Jan. 15) in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Events will begin at 7:00 p.m.
