Cleveland State Head Coach Gary Waters:
"We did what we had to do to win the basketball game and completed it. At times, it didn't look as pretty as it did. I thought we executed like we needed to, but had a few to many turnovers. We handled their press pretty well and I didn't think that was to big a problem for us."

"Our goal was to shut down the dribble-drive. We went under screens and made them shoot the basketball. We hoped the wouldn't hit them and they didn't."

"We wanted to create a home court prescene. We hope the fans help us in the latter part of our schedule. They have been good this year to help us. Our number one objective this season was to do well at home."

"We had three objectives. We didn't want them to dribble pentrate us. We wanted to have a man on Paulsen at all times and we wanted to have a man on their five man so he couldn't get a lot of rebounds. There were a couple times we didn't execute in situations and we let them hang around. Beyond that, I thought it was a very good game by our team and they did what they had to do to win."

Cleveland State's Cedric Jackson:
"Our identity is defense and we wanted to pressure them. We were smarter on defense today and were well prepared for them today."

"We played hard at Butler, but we were still confident because they struggled a little bit. We had to defend our home court tonight and had to make sure we did everything we didn't do at Milwaukee."

"He (Norris Cole) is stepping up and maturing well. I am always trying to help him and he is doing the same. I am very proud of him tonight."

Cleveland State's Norris Cole:
"I think it's been a learning experience for me. Coach is always telling me not to do to much. Just get the team into the sets and everything will be OK."

"We wanted to get stops which led to our offensive baskets."

Milwaukee Head Coach Rob Jeter:
"I think turnovers really summed up the game. The fact that we lost a contest that could have went either way, you have to look at the points off turnovers. But I've got to give credit to Cleveland State. They played really hard and really play tough defensively in this building. The turnovers just took away opportunities for us."

"We were able to get to some places, but the turnovers were key. When you are making a run and take a quick shot and it doesn't go it, I consider those momentum breakers or turnovers. They did a nice job of clogging the lane on us."

"We couldn't get that long run. Turnovers and shot selections had something to do with it. But you have to credit Cleveland State. They made some plays when they had to and got to the line 25 times. We only went 10 times. You're not going to be able to pull out a victory when that happens."

"We couldn't guard Jackson or stop him from getting in the paint. He did some really nice things for them tonight."
