CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State cross country team is set to continue the 2022 campaign this week, competing at the All-Ohio Championships on Friday, September 16. Friday's race will be hosted by Cedarville University and will take place at the Elvin R. King Cross Country Course.
For the first time in the meet's history, the race will be held at night, with the women's 5K slated for an 8:25 p.m. start.

The All-Ohio Championships will be the third of seven races for the Vikings this season, with Cleveland State being one of over 30 teams competing in the field.
Last time out, the Vikings ran their first 5K of the season, recording five top-10 finishes at the Tommy Titan Invitational. For the second straight race, senior Hannah Korte and sophomore Ariana Coats finished one-two for the Vikings, while Kiannah Sarver and Madelynn Madison made their 2022 debuts.
Friday will mark the third straight week that Cleveland State will be in action, as the Vikings are gearing up for the Horizon League Championships in late October.
