INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Horizon League announced the 2021 Cross Country All-Academic Team Thursday, with Cleveland State junior Hannah Korte being recognized.
Korte finished the season carrying a 3.97 cumulative GPA pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering, while earning a spot on the Cleveland State Dean's List every semester she has been eligible.
Throughout the season, Korte was part of Cleveland State's top-two finishers during four races, while being part of the top-three finishers six times.
Korte posted Cleveland State's best individual finish of the season at the Lansing Invite, placing fourth overall with a 5K time of 19:27. Along with her fourth place finish at the Lansing Invite, Korte also had a top-10 finish at the Wooster Invite, placing eighth overall with a 4K time of 15:56.
This marks the second All-Academic Team accolade for Korte, as she also earned a spot on the 2021 Indoor Track & Field All-Academic Team last year.
