INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Horizon League announced the 2019 cross country All-Academic Team Wednesday afternoon, with Cleveland State junior Anna Brandt earning a spot on the seven-member team.

Brandt carries a perfect 4.00 GPA pursuing a degree in health sciences/pre-physical therapy, and has been named to the Cleveland State Dean's List every semester of her collegiate career.

This season, Brandt was Cleveland State's top finisher during every race, including four top-15 overall finishes. Her highest finish of the season came at the Tommy Evans Invitational where she placed fourth with a season-best 5K time of 18:12.

Throughout her career, Brandt has set both 5K and 6K records for the Vikings, and owns 20 top-10 times on the 5K and 6K Top-Performances List over the last 15 seasons.

This marks her second time earning a spot on the #HLXC All-Academic Team, while she is also a three-time all-league honoree and former Horizon League Freshman of the Year.
