CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State track & field team will continue its indoor slate this weekend, taking part in the Hillsdale Wide Track Invite on Saturday, January 28.

Saturday's meet will be the fifth of a nine-meet indoor schedule for the Vikings this year. Fans that are unable to attend Saturday's meet will be able to follow along with LIVE RESULTS.

Last time out, the Vikings had a strong showing at the Mastodon Invite, recording five top-10 finishes. Cleveland State's top finish came in the 400 Meter Dash, with Dynesty Ervin placing second overall. In addition, Jillian McArdle placed fourth in the Long Jump giving the Vikings a pair of top-five individual placers.

The top-five finishes from Ervin and McArdle last weekend were two of nine top-five finishes for the Vikings so far this season, with Promise Edeh, Averi Hardiman, Savannah Shaver, Melanie Ortiz, Madelynn Madison, Ana Crangle, and Ariana Coats also posting top-five finishes.

Saturday's meet will be the final event during the month of January, while the Vikings will have three tune-up meets in February before the 2023 Horizon League Indoor Championships on Saturday, February 25 and Sunday, February 26.
