Track & Field Continues Indoor Campaign At Tom Wright Open

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State track & field team will continue its indoor season this weekend, participating in the Tom Wright Open hosted by Bowling Green on Saturday, December 10.

Saturday's meet will mark the second of nine competitions for the Vikings during the indoor campaign, and the final event before the end of the calendar year.

On Saturday, field events are slated to get underway at 12:00 p.m., with running events set to start at 1:00 p.m. Fans can follow along with LIVE RESULTS

Cleveland State will be one of just four teams participating in Saturday's meet, joining Ball State, Allegheny College and the host Falcons.

Last time out, nine Vikings made their indoor debuts, including Ana Crangle who was one of three Vikings to record a top-10 finish at the YSU Icebreaker. Crangle posted a time of 5:37.41 to finish eighth in the Mile, while Ariana Coats matched her finish in the 5000 with a time of 19:44.18 and Dynesty Ervin posted a time of 59.80 to finish ninth in the 400.

Two Vikings recorded career-best marks at the YSU Icebreaker last weekend, with Zoe Dellaserra posting a mark of 4.73 in the Long Jump and Ariana Coats recording a time of 19:44.18 in the 5000. 

Cleveland State's indoor schedule leads up to the 2023 #HLTF Indoor Championships, which will be hosted by Purdue Fort Wayne on Saturday, February 25 and Sunday, February 26.
