Track & Field Continues Indoor Slate At YSU Collegiate Invite

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State track & field team will be back in action this weekend, taking part in the YSU Collegiate Invitational on Friday, January 17.

Friday's meet is scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m. with both running and field events starting at the same time.

HEAT SHEETS & COMPLETE SCHEDULE

The Vikings will be one of 34 teams competing on Friday, and one of two Horizon League teams in action (the host Penguins).

The YSU Collegiate Invitational will mark the third of eight indoor meets for the Vikings this season, and will help CSU get acclimated to the Watson and Tressel Training Site, where the 2020 Horizon League Indoor Championship will be held next month.

Last time out, the Vikings picked up a pair of individual victories at the Findlay Open, with Azsah Bradley winning the 60 Meter Dash and Anna Brandt placing first in the 800 Meter Run. Bradley's winning time of 7.68 marked a program record in the 60 Meter Dash, marking the third record the Vikings have set so far this season.
