Cleveland State Women’s Tennis Returns To Action At WMU Invitational

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State women's tennis team will close out its 2022 fall campaign this weekend, participating in the Western Michigan Invitational Friday, November 11 – Sunday, November 13.

This weekend's tournament will be a pod format, with both singles and doubles matches.

The Western Michigan Invitational marks the fifth and final tournament of the fall season, with the Vikings already competing in the Michigan State Invitational, Viking Invitational, ITA Midwest Regional, and Toledo Invitational.

Entering the final weekend of play, Tereze Vevere and Bethany Yauch both have a team-best six singles wins on the fall campaign, while freshman Ella Franz has picked up five wins in her first season of collegiate play.

Following this weekend's WMU Invitational, the Vikings will take a break from competition, return to play when they open the Spring Season in January.
