Mrcela is joined by classmate Gaby Schoenberg, along with seniors Kateryna Avram, Blanche Lenoan and Sian Payne, and sophomores Lauren Longo and Lara Prosenjak.

Last Time Out…
The Vikings picked up a 4-3 victory at Western Michigan, marking the first win over the Broncos. The Vikings picked up the win with points from doubles, No. 2, No. 3, and No. 6 singles, improving to 2-0 in season openers under head coach Frank Polito.

Prosenjak & Mrcela Earn #HLWTEN Weekly Honors
After helping the Vikings pick up the crucial doubles point at Western Michigan, Cleveland State's No. 1 doubles team of Lara Prosenjak and Klara Mrcela was named the Horizon League Doubles Team of the Week. Prosenjak and Mrcela notched a 6-4 win at the top of the lineup against the Broncos, and improved to a team-best 8-2 on the year.

Vikings At The MMTP
Saturday's home opener will mark the first and second matches of a 14-match home slate for the Vikings during the 2020 spring season, as they will be calling the Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion home for the fifth year. Since its opening in 2016, the Vikings have posted a 33-11 record at the MMTP, including a 9-1 mark last season.

#HLWTEN Preseason Poll
Earlier this season the Vikings were tabbed to finish second in the highly competitive 10-team Horizon League field, collecting 68 points to finish behind preseason favorite UIC. This marks the eighth year that the Horizon League has released a preseason poll, with the Vikings selected to finish second for the third time.

Head Coach Frank Polito
Frank Polito is in his second year at the helm of the Vikings, and his eighth year overall at Cleveland State. Last year, Polito helped the Vikings to a 16-9 overall record, including an 8-1 mark in regular season league matchups. Polito and the Vikings captured a share of the 2019 Regular Season #HLWTEN Championship last year, and earned an appearance in the league championship match for the first time since 2014.
