Vikings Set To Close Fall Season At WMU Super Challenge

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State women's tennis team will compete in its final fall tournament this weekend, participating in the WMU Super Challenge. The three-day tournament will run from Friday, November 2 through Sunday, November 4, and will be hosted by Western Michigan.

Avram Continues Strong Viking Debut
So far this fall, junior transfer Kateryna Avram has been leading the Vikings in singles action, owning a team-best 5-4 record. Last time out, Avram posted a 2-1 record at the Martha Thorn Invitational, playing at the top of the singles lineup.

Spindler Chasing Down 50 Career Wins
Entering the weekend, senior Isabella Spindler is closing in on career win #50, currently owning 45 victories. Spindler has played the majority of her career at the top of the singles lineup, and would become the 15th Viking all-time to record 50 career singles wins. Playing in limited action this fall due to injury, Spindler stands at 1-2 this year.
