INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Vikings are fifth with 162 points after two days of competition at the 2024 Horizon League Championships.

Grace Chelf won the 50-yard freestyle championship after sprinting to the fifth fastest time in school history, 23.17. The sophomore won prelims earlier this morning with the fourth fastest time in school history, 23.14.

Ana Sofia Sousa clocked the eighth fastest time in program history, 23.38, placing her fifth in the 50-yard freestyle. Haley Palmer touched the wall in 23.91, putting her in 11th place.

In the 500-yard freestyle, Mackenzie Lipnick (5:03.41) placed 11th, Kayla Brock (5:03.79) in 13th, and Madison Taker (5:07.07) in 14th.

Kellsie Krisch came in 11th during the 200-yard IM after finishing in 2:09.33.

Cleveland State ended the evening with a runner-up finish in the 200-yard freestyle as Grace Chelf, Sousa, Palmer, and Ella Ciez finished in 1:33.56.
