INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Cleveland State sophomore diver Brooke Eichel was named the Nike® #HLSD Diver of the Week, the Horizon League announced Wednesday afternoon.

Eichel opened the 2022-23 season this past weekend by sweeping the events. She won 1-meter with a score of 209.78 and 3-meter with a 192.83.

"This is a great start for Brooke and a huge confidence booster in the process with Coach Chalmers," said Head Coach Hannah Burandt. "Brooke has been focusing on being intentional and doing a lot of drills every day in practice. We can't wait to see how she progresses with the season ahead of her."
