The Cleveland State Softball program announced today the 2023 schedule. The Vikings are scheduled to play a 40-game regular season schedule, including 13 games at Viking Field.
"I'm excited to announce the 2023 schedule," said Head Coach Amy Kyler. "This schedule features quality games early in the season against good non-conference opponents, which will prepare us well for the Horizon League schedule."
The Vikings will head south to begin the season, starting first with a trip to Florida for the JU/UNF Invitational hosted by Jacksonville University for three games, from February 17-19.
Cleveland State also travels to UAB, the College of Charleston, Marshall and East Carolina in the early portion of the schedule.
The Vikings will then open Horizon League play at home against IUPUI, as the Jaguars come to Cleveland for a three game series beginning on March 24th.
All Horizon League series consist of a single game followed by a doubleheader, weather permitting. Admission to all home games at Viking Field is free of charge for all spectators.
