Cleveland State Women's Soccer Adds Five for 2024 Season

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State women's soccer team announced five players for the upcoming 2024 season.

Sam Baker | Hartland, Mich. | Hartland HS | Forward | Michigan Jaguars GA
Baker led Hartland to a state championship in 2021 and was part of her clubs 2022 state championship victory. Off the field, she was an MHSAA Scholar Athlete and part of the National Society of High School Scholars.

Cortlyn Hefty | Belvidere, Ill. | Belvidere North HS | Forward | Rockford Raptors FC
Hefty is a three-time First Team All-Conference player at Belvidere North High School. As a junior, she was named First Team All-State and Northern Illinois Co-Player of the Year. During her junior season, she received First Team All-Sectional honors. Hefty is currently the all-time leading scorer and will look to build on that in her senior season during the spring.

For her club, Hefty helped them to a 2021 and 22 Illinois State Cup runner-up finishes. In 2022, her club was the ECNL Regional League Heartland Conference Champions, 2022 National Runner-up, and USYS National Qualifier. For her efforts, Hefty was named First Team All-Conference.

Off the field, Hefty was named a Scholar-Athlete.

Rhi Molnar | Pittsburgh, Pa. | Chartiers Valley HS | Defender | Century United 2006 GA
Molnar was a two-time All-Section player in high school. Off the field, Molnar was an AP Scholar.

Chloe Pandelos | Pittsburgh, Pa. | Peters Township HS | Defender | Beadling SC
Pandelos was a three-year letterwinner at Peters Township High School. She helped her club qualify for the Girls Academy playoffs. Off the field, Pandelos was a member of the National Honors Society and the High Honor Roll.

Danielle Scott | Dayton, Ohio | Stivers School for the Arts | Forward | FC United
Scott was named the DPS Player of the Year, All-City First Team, and team MVP. In club, she was the team MVP and top scorer. Off the field, she was named to the Honor Roll.
