Riggs Adds Transfer Sabrina Coffman

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Cleveland State Women's Golf Head Coach Taylor Riggs has announced the signing of transfer Sabrina Coffman to the team's 2021-22 roster.

"We're excited to add Sabrina to our roster starting in the fall of 2021 as a graduate transfer," said Riggs. "Sabrina brings a lot of college golf and amateur golf experience to our program. She is coming from a great golf conference at the Division II level and has had quite a bit of success throughout her college career so far. Sabrina is an excellent student and we are fortunate to have her joining us!"

Coffman comes to Cleveland State following a two-year stint at Saginaw Valley State University. The Toledo, Ohio, native competed in 11 invitationals for the Cardinals during the 2017-18 season, placing three top five finishes. Coffman shot a season-best 72 at the Findlay Beall Fall Classic and averaged a 77.35 on the season. A two-time GLIAC champions all-tournament team member, the newest Viking also garnered second team all-conference honors during her two years at SVSU.

Listed as a medical redshirt during the 2018-19 season at SVSU, Coffman competed in individual competitions, which included being crowned 2019 FSU Lady Bulldog Champion and 2019 Ohio State Women's Amateur Champion.

Coffman is an alumna of St. Ursula Academy in Toledo, Ohio.
