Kielsmeier Announces 2018-19 Coaching Staff

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Cleveland State women's basketball head coach Chris Kielsmeier has completed his coaching staff for the upcoming 2018-19 season, and will look to have a successful first year at the helm of the Vikings with a talented group on the sidelines.

"It was important for me to hire assistants who were not only extremely knowledgeable with the game, but who also had experience at different levels of coaching and at different schools in the basketball landscape. Although everyone joins the program with a different coaching background, they all have a strong work ethic, passion, and drive, which will support the vision and philosophy of the Cleveland State Women's Basketball program and lead to the success of our student-athletes. I am confident that our eagerness, selfless mentality, and persistence to be successful on and off the court, will be a contagious approach to the success of the program," Kielsmeier said.
